Job Summary
Refah Al Alami Company is hiring a seasoned and proactive Finance Manager to lead the company’s financial operations and strategy. This leadership role involves overseeing the full scope of financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the organization's financial health and long-term sustainability while supporting broader business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Banking & Financial Operations
- Manage routine banking transactions and maintain strong bank relationships.
- Supervise accounts receivable/payable, treasury activities, and cash management.
- Ensure efficient liquidity control to support smooth operations.
- Facilitate negotiations for credit lines, loans, and banking services.
- Guarantee timely payment processing and sound cash handling procedures.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial models aligned with business strategy.
- Perform variance analysis and deliver insights to close performance gaps.
- Track and report KPIs through executive dashboards.
- Assess potential investments and pricing approaches to drive profitability.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives through scenario planning and financial evaluations.
Compliance & Risk Oversight
- Ensure adherence to local and global financial laws and tax compliance.
- Design and enforce internal controls to manage financial risk.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Monitor and report risk exposure related to financial and operational activities.
- Stay informed on evolving regulatory and financial compliance matters.
Financial Reporting & Documentation
- Deliver timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing cycles.
- Maintain comprehensive financial documentation to support audit readiness.
- Create and manage standardized reporting templates and process documentation.
- Handle ad-hoc reporting requests from leadership and stakeholders.
Process Optimization & Automation
- Spot and address inefficiencies in financial operations.
- Champion automation initiatives to enhance reporting and workflow efficiency.
- Spearhead upgrades and digital transformation projects in finance systems.
- Collaborate across departments to improve budgeting, procurement, and payment procedures.
- Foster a culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s/MBA is an asset).
- Recognized professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA, etc.) are highly preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 3 years in management.
- Proficiency in accounting standards, financial systems, tax regulations, and corporate finance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel modeling.
Technical Proficiencies
- Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting
- Budget development and variance analysis
- Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP
- Familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Proficient in Excel and tools like Power BI or similar analytics software
- Understanding of taxation and financial compliance
- Strong background in cash flow and treasury management
