Job Summary

The Commercial Manager plays a key leadership role in advancing the company’s business goals. This position is responsible for driving revenue, managing client portfolios, and steering commercial initiatives. The role requires a strategic thinker who can foster partnerships, identify market opportunities, negotiate deals, and ensure profitability, while maintaining excellent service standards.

The Commercial Manager collaborates across departments to analyze market trends, refine business strategies, and boost financial performance. This role is central to the growth and continued success of Attaie Properties in Afghanistan’s real estate sector.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of sales proposals, marketing strategies, and business development plans.
  • Expand the client base through proactive prospecting and strategic outreach.
  • Identify market drivers and new commercial opportunities to boost revenue.
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients to retain and grow business.
  • Work closely with business development, sales, and marketing teams to support customer success.
  • Build a structured lead generation system across multiple channels (calls, chats, social media, etc.).
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to support new property ventures.
  • Explore untapped markets to increase brand visibility and client acquisition.
  • Oversee high-value contract negotiations and secure new business deals.
  • Ensure sales targets are consistently met within deadlines.
  • Organize corporate gatherings to strengthen relationships with buyers and sellers.
  • Represent the company at real estate events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Train and guide internal teams and affiliated property dealers to improve performance.
  • Facilitate biweekly team meetings to review progress and set new strategies.
  • Provide joint oversight of Finance and Admin teams.
  • Act as a deputy to the Managing Director when required.
  • Set performance benchmarks for teams and offer coaching for improvement.
  • Motivate team members to align with the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Pursue targeted market segments to generate and grow business.
  • Develop and monitor business plans to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Create performance tracking systems and refine strategies based on data.
  • Deliver monthly business updates and presentations to senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relations with the community, unions, and partner organizations.
  • Handle other relevant tasks assigned by the company leadership.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Real estate or construction experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record in sales conversion and client relationship management.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; visual proposal design skills are a bonus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a results-driven approach to business.
  • Willingness to travel within Afghanistan and adapt to flexible work schedules.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Fluent in local Afghan languages and English; proficient in MS Office and related tools.
  • Professional, persuasive, and disciplined demeanor.
