We are seeking a Microwave Technician responsible for the installation, activation, and troubleshooting of microwave wireless links. The role also includes resolving LAN network device issues and addressing computer-related problems for customers through on-site visits, phone consultations, or remote support.

This position involves providing technical assistance with computer operating systems, software applications, email configuration, installation procedures, printing solutions, and the maintenance of customer LAN networks.

• Install, activate, and troubleshoot microwave links according to company standards.
• Perform radio frequency (RF) testing, analysis, and optimization.
• Conduct site surveys to determine optimal equipment placement and signal strength.
• Troubleshoot and repair microwave radio equipment and related components.
• Install and configure LAN network devices based on customer needs.
• Troubleshoot LAN devices and provide the most effective solutions.
• Conduct network project surveys, arrange resources, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve network issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot UAT wireless base stations (first-level support) in coordination with the Head Office.
• Install wired and wireless equipment at base stations, ensuring full operational functionality.
• Share on-site technical solutions with the team for future reference.
• Submit detailed daily and weekly reports to the assigned manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of RF principles and microwave transmission technologies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network installation, troubleshooting, or a related role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, MCITP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English.
