Established in April 2019, the Afghan Peace Builders Humanitarian Organization (APBHO) is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit entity. Rooted in years of community engagement through its Youth Council initiative, APBHO champions the rights of vulnerable groups, particularly women and children impacted by conflict and humanitarian crises.
APBHO’s core efforts emphasize grassroots peacebuilding initiatives, including community-based conflict resolution and environmental peace strategies. The organization focuses on shifting traditional gender norms and empowering individuals with the skills needed for peaceful conflict resolution.
APBHO also undertakes sustainable development projects, including economic empowerment and emergency humanitarian assistance through food and non-food distributions. With a cross-cutting emphasis on youth and women, the organization also leads research, advocacy, and peace promotion initiatives.
APBHO is seeking a qualified Computer Trainer to design, develop, and deliver effective computer literacy and maintenance courses. The trainer will cover both hardware and software training, introducing participants to modern ICT troubleshooting methods relevant to Afghanistan’s local market. The role demands instructing participants on identifying, diagnosing, and resolving computer issues, with a focus on practical solutions, repairs, and upgrades. Training will also include essential software applications such as Microsoft Windows, Office programs, Photoshop, internet browsing, and basic networking.
Applicants must mention the position title and vacancy number (APBHO-Kabul-2025-03) in the subject line of their email. Only candidates who submit a complete application — including a resume, completed application form, and cover letter compiled into a single PDF file — will be considered. The file size must not exceed 2MB.
The application form can be downloaded here.
Deadline for submission: May 05, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
Incomplete or inconsistent applications will not be shortlisted. Due to a high volume of applicants, only those selected for a written test or interview will be contacted.
